The best way to connect with others, is doing something you enjoy!!

Here's how you can become involved:

Special Interest Groups – Get into a fun routine! These small groups can meet regularly, or we have some one-time activities. Lists of groups are posted at each monthly General Meeting. Become a member of Newcomers, and sign up for a SIG to get involved. There is no obligation to attend, and it is a great way to meet others with similar interests. What kind of groups are there?
  • Daytime and evening groups
  • Couple groups
  • Groups for parents
  • Book reading, card playing, and game groups
  • Knitting, sewing, quilting,  and crafting groups
  • Biking, skiing, and hiking groups

  • Community service groups - Habit for Humanity
  • Tours of local places - Oil  & Vinegar, Northern Woolens, Panther Distillery, Sunopta

Special Interest Events – Seize the moment! Events may be one-time events, occasional, seasonal, and sometimes spontaneous. Members can sign up to be notified for an upcoming outing or activity, and whoever shows up enjoys the fun. Events include:
